Souvenir specialist Oxford Diecast streamlines its service

Launches a next day delivery service for retailers looking to capitalise on tourist traffic.

Oxford Diecast is gearing up its support to the trade in the crucial summer season.

The company has seen demand for its range of models which appeal to the Tourist and Souvenir market has significantly increased. With the number of enquiries from new retailers reaching its highest level, the team at Oxford Diecast realised that they could offer a unique service.

Responding to the demand, Oxford Diecast has lauched a new fast delivery service for selected tourist and souvenir products – retailers placing and paying for their order by noon can expect their stock to be shipped on the same day.

Sean Hall, London Sales Manager explained “We’ve become increasing aware of two areas of customer demand which this new fast order service can support. Firstly retailers who have not stocked Oxford Diecast products before, and want a higher quality souvenir in their business – or have found existing sources can’t offer them stock as quickly as is needed during the Summer events.”

“Secondly, we’ve found retailers increasingly worried with any commitment for further stock which is tied in with a Summer Sporting Event. There is some belief in the market it will become dead stock as soon as the main event finishes. Instead they want to blend into their ranges similar Souvenir items which aren’t linked to the event and critically are not ‘Sell By dated’ so to speak.”
