Creative Toys has announced YouTube Shorts 2012 - a competition where SoccerStarz fans can win toys by making animations using the football figurines.

“YouTube Shorts is another example of our desire to spark the creative spirit of kids and football fans, and have some fun at the same time” says Mark Stinchcombe, head of toys at Creative Toys.

“Through this contest, video creators will have the opportunity to showcase their imagination and win free SoccerStarz. Any format, style and genre are allowed.”

Fans are invited to submit their 30-second videos to YouTube to win SoccerStarz.

If any video achieves 100,000 hits within one month then the participant will be entitled to claim all 32 SoccerStarz figures.

The deadline for submissions is Tuesday October 2nd.

"The mission of the SoccerStarz brand is to inspire the imagination of football fans. As a toy company, we want to act as a bridge for sharing thoughts and ideas,” says Glenn Barnard, trading director at Creative Toys.
