The range will include a small ride-on car, trike and scooter as well as a new version of its F1 Driver plug and play, which allows kids to get behind the wheel, and an R/C F1 car.

Adrian Mayes, managing director of Smoby UK said: “I’m delighted to announce that Smoby will be teaming up with McLaren in the New Year, particularly following its signing of Lewis Hamilton. He’s set to be an inspiration to British kids and now, thanks to Smoby, they’ll also be able to start their driving career early behind the wheel of a McLaren”
