Scott will be focused upon providing the industry with enhanced information solutions and expanding the NPD EuroToys service into other territories in Europe.

Jane Zimmy, who had been heading the EuroToys division in Anna’s absence, has accepted a role within NPD championing the global expansion of the company’s toy business outside US and Europe. Zimmy will also work towards harmonising The NPD Group’ s product offerings in North America, Europe and Asia.

Scott will report into Andy Tarshis, Europe Group President of The NPD Group, while Zimmy will report into Tom Lynch, chief financial officer of The NPD Group.

“Both Jane and Anna have demonstrated a commitment to client satisfaction and growth. Their leadership skills have been instrumental in paving the way for new business opportunities on a global scale,” said Tarshis.

“Jane and Anna will be playing important roles at NPD as we continue to assess expansion opportunities for toys beyond where we operate today,” added Lynch.

“We believe that they are uniquely qualified for these positions, as both are at the vanguard of our corporate strategy of being a more global player.”
