Schleich appoints Outsourced Sales Solutions to manage its independent retailer base

Schleich UK has appointed Outsourced Sales Solutions to manage its independent customer base. 

The firm selected OSS due to its industry expertise and 'a level of staffing that will enable Schleich to better realise its aims to improve coverage within the independent sector'.

“Not only will this partnership with OSS open new opportunities for Schleich but existing independent customers will benefit from being visited and merchandised more regularly," said Jez Robinson, country manager at Schleich.

"This is key to ensuring the best possible offer at retail and maximise sales both in and out of the store. OSS already has a significant independent business developed over the last five years, and we look forward to seeing our combined efforts delivering further growth for both parties.”

As part of the restructure of the sales strategy, sales representative Mark Sharp will be moving to OSS while existing agreements with Leon Keys, Jez Large and Mashal Toy Agencies will be unaffected.

“We are delighted that Mark has decided to join OSS and be involved with the new set up going forward," added Robinson.

"This new arrangement gives us a truly renewed focus on the independent market, which has always been so important to Schleich and its UK business.

“2015 is set to be another key year for Schleich within the UK with key new product launches in not only our core ranges, but also more multiple pack offers and boxed sets. These will be perfect for the independent sector as will the launch of our eagerly anticipated range of DC Comics figurines.”
