Online shoppers can now take advantage of Scalextric Reward Scheme, which awards points for everything bought on the site, with regular customers earning extra points as well as free postage and packaging.

Scalextric.com customers will also be able to enter exclusive competitions with a chance to win Scalextric prizes. The site also encourages users to create wish lists of their favourite products with a facility to send the list to family and friends.

Free screensavers and desktop wallpapers will also be available, as well as improved product images, making it even easier for customers to see exactly how detailed the products are.

Scalextric Track Designer software will be offered as a free download - a useful tool for enthusiasts and a way for new users to learn more about the product. Once created, the track designs can be saved, printed or even sent directly to the online shop where the extras you need are added automatically to your shopping basket.

To help first time customers, a set selection tool has been designed to help parents find the most appropriate set for their child based on age, budget and their preferred system.

The site will also provide access to the Scalextric team’s wealth of knowledge providing expert tips and advice on using, extending and maintaining sets and cars.

Paul Chandler from Scalextric said: ‘We here at Scalextric are incredibly excited about the relaunch, in particular the Scalextric Reward Scheme which we believe will show our loyal customers how much they mean to us.

“We have taken into account customer feedback and have made changes and improvements on the site based on the comments we received, creating a site that we feel is both exciting and easy to use for customers old and new.’
