Sambro appoints new sales director

Sambro has strengthed its team with the appointment of a new sales director in the form of Oliver Williams.

Williams (pictured) has worked in the toy industry for over a decade, most recently as national account manager UK and IE at Wooky. He also helped to introduce US brand Fashion Angels into the UK.

In his new role, Williams will oversee the UK and Ireland, extending the company's reach across the marketplace while continuing to grow its existing customer base.

"We are delighted to have Oliver on board," said Sambro director Nikki Samuels. "He has grownn up within the industry and not only is a great sales person, but also understands each aspect of this fast paced sector.

"As a rapidly expanding company, Oliver's expertise will prove invaluable going forward."

Williams added: "I've joined Sambro at an exciting time for the company. During my first week, the company received two licensing awards.

"There is a real buzz about the place and I am enjoying working with not only some great people, but on some brilliant licences and new distribution lines."
