RSPB launches own board game

UK conservation charity teams with Pants On Fire Games to develop new bird spotting board game

The RSPB has teamed with Pants On Fire Games to launch a new board game to boost kids' and parents' understanding of the British countryside.

The game - titled Wing It - challenges players to become the first to spot different birds around the UK.

The collaboration between the award winning board game design company and the UK conservation charity has seen the game make use of the RSPB's image library while the selection of birds and locations was made using the knowledge of RSPB wardens.

Richard McLuckie, director of Pants On Fire Games, said: "We wanted Wing It to be as realistic as possible. All our games have one thing in common - they have to be good fun.

"And in Wing It there is just the right balance of educational value, competition and mischief."

Doug Christie, RSPB's licensing manager, said: "It fits in with what the RSPB is all about, it's fun, it's educational and hopefully it will inspire people to tai a closer look at nature and how they can help give it a home."
