Rossi returns at Wilton Bradley

Popular retail figure Marcello Rossi has returned to the industry with a new role at Wilton Bradley.

The former owner of the three-strong Marcello's Toymaster chain in Dorset, who exited the business in January 2005, Rossi will be heading up marketing and brand development having taken on a number of consulting roles in the industry including stints for Tradeasi, Howleys and the Beales department store group.

He commented: “2006 has been a great year, especially with Beales Department Store Group where we achieved like for like growth of over 20 per cent.

“During 2006 I also joined forces with Howleys in Weymouth to launch Lay-Z-Spa. Through the incredible success of that I found myself at Wilton Bradley a fair few times and when the opportunity to join the team came about it didn’t take long for me to say yes.”

Wilton Bradley are a well established and respected UK importer/distributor of quality high volume toys and leisure goods. Brands include Bestway, Osprey, Urban Beach, Redline Racers.
