According to the firm all the main operating regions, UK, France, Benelux, Spain, Germany and export markets recorded strong year on year sales increases.
Product range successes included the Take Along Thomas and Thomas Wooden Railway System, Lamaze, while The First Years Nursery line grew strongly along with Britain’s Farm. New for 2007 items like Battle Wheel Warriors and V Bot sold well in the Christmas period.
2008 will see RC2’s product line expanding, with additions in the Diego range, Playtown Pre-School, JLX – the new RC stunt vehicle, along with line extensions in existing ranges.
The Thomas range will also be boosted with an Easter TV campaign.
