Bramwell joins from Character Options, where he gained a wealth of marketing experience, working with brands such as Peppa Pig, Fireman Sam, Postman Pat and Zhu Zhu Pets.

Tim Hall, managing director, Ravensburger, commented: "Benn joins at a time when the Ravensburger UK business is growing strongly and he will be responsible for increasing the marketing power for the business over the coming years, increasing awareness for the consumer and volume for our retail and licensing partners."

In other news, the firm's veteran sales agent, Peter Crispin, passed away in the early hours of Sunday September 12th 2010.

Peter was Ravensburger’s sales agent in the South West and even at the age of 80, continued to work for Ravensburger up until very recently. He had suffered a stroke earlier this year.

He joined the industry as an agent in the South West when he was in his early 20s. He worked for numerous toy and nursery companies over the years including Angels Toy Wholesale, McLaren, Fisher Price, Michael Stanfield, and Ravensburger.

Peter will be sadly missed by all of his friends and colleagues in the industry. Ravensburger's thoughts go out to Pete’s wife Joan, his two sons and the rest of the family at this difficult time.

The funeral will take place on Thursday September 23rd at St Michaels Church in Teignmouth, Devon.

Peter’s family has requested family flowers only. Donations if desired can be made to The Torbay Hospital League of Friends via the funeral director:
