Rainbow Toy Awards 2016 winners revealed
The results of the eighth annual Rainbow Toy Awards have been revealed.
The winners have been announced during a live online ceremony at Rainbowawards.co.uk.
Scrutinised by a team of toy testers – all of whom are children – the toys across each category have been ranked in terms of play value, longevity, packaging, build quality, value for money and their overall impression.
The winners of the eighth annual Rainbow Toy Awards Ceremony are:
Overall Champion: Wooden Kitchen – Red, Aldi
Outdoor Toys: Wooden Growing Swing Set, Plum Products
Games & Puzzles – The Young Ones: Timeline British History, Esdevium Games
Games & Puzzles – Older Children and Adults: Banangrams party, Bananagrams
Pre-school Toys: Toot Toot Friends Kingdom Enchanted Princess Palace, VTech Electronics
Imaginative Play: Pirate Fort Superset, Playmobil
Educational Toys: Wooden Kitchen – Red, Aldi
