The Rainbow Toy Awards for Excellence 2013 are open for entries.
Any new toy product launch this year is eligible to be entered into the Awards, which is now in its fifth year.
Award winners and highly commended products will be featured in a live online ceremony and in various consumer publications, with another double page spread planned in the Mum’s Survival Guide Autumn 2013.
The awards are chosen by children themselves, and Rainbow says its logo is "an extremely credible piece of marketing for any company to use".
Awards MD Peter Dawson said: "We enjoy seeing which toys children really prefer, and the fact that both new companies and large established toy industry names all compete for winning each category on an equal footing."
New PR and marketing firm Rainbow 360 Media Ltd has joined the Awards team this year, having helped design a new blog-style website for the Awards.
Helen Davis from Rainbow 360 Media added: "We felt the site with this familiar feel is much more powerful than a potentially off-putting full corporate offering."
