Rainbow Designs has donated ten of its giant The Very Hungry Caterpillar plush to The Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia.
'The Very Hungry Caterpillar & Other Eric Carle Favourites' will be on tour around the UK until the end of November. The Mermaid Theatre will use the toys as prizes for competitions in the national and regional newspapers.
Anthony Temple, Rainbow Designs’ managing director said: “We are delighted that Eric Carle’s classic tales are being brought to life in such a creativeto support the tour by donating the plush Caterpillars.
“The tour is a fantastic for raising awareness of The Very Hungry Caterpillar brand and retailers can look forward to even greater demand for toys and gifts featuring this iconic and timeless character.”

Rainbow’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar collection includes plush, a hand puppet, developmental toys, wooden toys and games, a Jack in the Box and a backpack.
