The Rainbow Awards, an online awards for toy excellence, has extended its entry deadline.

The team behind the Awards stated that 'after speaking with the toy industry at length, it had become apparent that entries for the products toy companies wanted to highlight in the prestigious awards ceremony were being hampered due to samples not being ready on time'.

As a result, Rainbow 360 Media is moving the deadline back a month to the end of September 2014, with the online award announcements following a month later on October 31st.

“After extensive conversations amongst the toy industry, it was clear that samples, particularly for imported products, are hampered by the summer holidays," said Peter Dawson from the Rainbow Awards.

“To arrest this situation we decided to move the entry deadline to get over this pinch point within the year, thus allowing a greater variety of products to be entered in the run up to the busy Christmas period.”

Rainbow Award entry forms can be found at www.rainbowawards.co.uk.
