Propel RC has appointed Carl England as its international general manager.
England's role will be to extend the Propel brand and product range into the global markets outside of North America.
He will be focusing initially on introducing Propel’s range of RC products into the UK and then looking to roll out into the international markets.
England has extensive experience working in senior sales and licensing roles at Timberland, Disney and Jakks Pacific.
“I’m very excited by the opportunity of bringing this established and successful American brand to the UK," said England. “Propel has become a leading RC brand in America, by offering industry leading quality, packaging and shelf appeal to their products that is without equal. Such is our belief in our products, that we offer an industry leading promise to offer freereplacement parts."
"At Propel we feel honour bound to support our products with a unique customer support mechanic. This means we will be replicating what has made us a major RC brand in the US, and providing a dedicated UK customer service team, based in the UK, and contactable via a local call rate number (0330 123 3457) I’m delighted to say this operation is now up and running.
“It’s such a breath of fresh air to be involved with a brand whose core values is to create quality products that deliver, and support them with incredible customer service and support. All consumers can buy the Propel products safe in the knowledge they will get exciting, fun and durable product, and have a customer service team ready to look after them, and listen so they can tell us what they want.
"We want our customers to be our brand advocates, and evolve with us as we grow and continue to break new ground in the RC category. By signing up to our free Flight Club, they will be able to engage directly with us, become Beta testers, and help us continue to produce the kind of market leading items they crave.
"The range in 2015 is just incredible, with ground breaking drones, helicopters and cars that offer some great points of difference to invigorate the RC market, and I’m looking forward to positioning the ranges to the International markets."
