Five has commissioned two exclusive seasonal specials of TV-Loonland's Little Princess, themed around Harvest Festival and Christmas.

In addition, this autumn will also see the launch of new Little Princess autumn/winter product lines by Martin Yaffe, under its Born to Play brand.

TV-Loonland has again teamed with The Illuminated Film Company for the two 22-minute specials. Harvest Festival will premiere on Five's Milkshake on Saturday November 1st, while the winter special - A Merry Little Christmas - will air during the festive holidays. It will see the introduction of new character Great Uncle Walter, voiced by Brian Blessed.

Meanwhile, Martin Yaffe will begin to roll out new products in the toy line this month.

Among them will be the talking Little Princess plush, dressing up set and a castle playset with furniture and figures from the show including the King, Queen, Little Princess, Scruff and Puss.

"The Little Princess continues to go from strength to strength and together with the two new TV specials, featuring the voice talent of the legendary and larger than life Brian Blessed, and the new product range, we are confident that it will remain at the top of every child and parent's wish list throughout the rest of the year," said Oliver Dumont, MD of TV-Loonland.

"We remain extremely committed to this enchanting property and towards developing it into a long-term international success."
