The pre-school sector is set to enjoy a bumper time this Christmas, according to the Toy Retailers Association.

In its top 12 toys for Christmas in the sector, it has named the likes of Fifi and the Flowertots, Bob the Builder, Dora the Explorer, In The Night Garden and Rupert Bear amongst others.

The full list is:

Bed-time Lullaby Fifi (Vivid); Bob the Builder Snap Trax Car Wash & Garage (Martin Yaffe); Dora's Laptop (Vtech); Fisher Price Smart Cycle (Mattel); Fisher Price Stride to Ride Lion (Mattel); In The Night Garden Blanket Time Igglepiggle (Hasbro); In The Night Garden Talking Plush (Hasbro); My Friend Rupert Bear (Martin Yaffe); Peppa Pig Campervan Playset (Character); Roary R/C Car (Vivid); Thomas & Jeremy Airport Set (Tomy); and Vsmile Learning System (Vtech).

Moving on, and this year's games selection shows that TV gameshows are still popular with the public. Drumond Park's Family Fortunes makes it into the top 12, along with Hasbro's Mystery Date and Mattel's Ratatouille Kitchen Quake, while old favourites like Monopoly and Game of Life are also still hot.
