PPS award winners announced

After months of judging and evaluating the Practical Pre-school awards were announced at Manchester University on Friday.

This year over 200 entries were received, with each product being judged on its own merits in an attempt to achieve the coveted Gold or Silver standard.

The Overall Winner in the Toys and Games Category was John Crane with its Musical Sets, whilst a new award for children aged 5-7 saw Flair’s Wammy achieving the category award.

Gold Awards were also given to:

  • Born to Play for the Thomas Rocker,
  • Character Options for Princess Peppa’s Palace
  • Haba for its toy shop collection
  • Hallilit for Interstar rings
  • My Wonder for Wonder Cube
  • Schleich for World of Knights
  • Paul Lamond games for Chimpanzee Pesky Pirates
  • Tomy for Discovery Magical Melody maker.

In other categories HippychicK and Chicco also did well with numerous golds.
