Playmobil to reduce outsourcing

Playmobil manufacturer, Geobra, plans to move its injection moulding in-house.

The holding group’s workforce is expected to increase by at least 100 when it brings back the output of between 70 to 100 machines to its site in Dietenhofen (pictured), where some 350 machines already operate.

It currently out sources work to between 150 and 200 custom injection moulders.
