Playmates Toys to spin-off from Playmates Holdings

Group to be listed separately from its holding company on Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The proposed move will still see Playmates Holdings retain about 55 per cent of the entire issues shared capital of the group while dealings in the shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange are expected to begin on Friday, February 1, 2008.
