Start-up board game company Clarendon Games is hosting a competition for the abstract strategy title Perigon at Barts speakeasy in Chelsea on Sunday June 10th.
The Perigon World Championships will start at 5:20pm and will feature four rounds, pitting celebrities, journalists and international chess masters against each other.
Will Sorrell, the inventor of Perigon, will also try to avoid getting beaten at his own game.
The winner will not only have the honour of being crowned the first-ever Perigon World Champion, but will also win a British-made marble and granite set of Perigon worth £600 (pictured).
Perigon has been featured in The Daily Telegraph, City AM and The Evening Standard.
It was the best-selling Christmas game at Fortnum & Mason and is to be launched in Barney’s New York and other major department stores this year.
