A computer peripherals distributor has seen "huge success" after adding licensed toys to its stable.

Meroncourt has been in business for over 20 years, and started distributing a few years back.

"In the three and a half years we have been distributing toys it has reached nearly 20 per cent of our total turnover," sales director Steve Walsh told ToyNews.

"We expect by the end of 2013 this will rise to nearer 30 per cent, and over coming years, equal our PC/IT revenue. Our turnover in the PC sector is increasing, so we have huge expectations for toys."

The firm's M-Play division looks after toys and M-Tech focuses on computer-related lines.

There are nearly 2,000 separate lines on the Meroncourt website and the firm says this is increasing.
