Paul Lamond Games has picked up the rights to games and puzzles based on the popular kids' brand Horrid Henry.

It reached an agreement with producer Novel Entertainment in conjunction with agent Caroline Mickler Ltd.

Paul Lamond will launch four new jigsaws early next year - two 100-piece products and two 250-piece puzzles - followed by a Horrid Henry board game.

Mike Watts, MD of Novel Entertainment, said: “Horrid Henry continues to appeal to kids in the UK as well as worldwide, and they have fun playing his games across all media. We are confident that these new traditional puzzles and games will be as much of a success as Henry’s various computer games and apps.”

Richard Pain, MD of Paul Lamond, added: “We are delighted to be welcoming Horrid Henry on board and to be adding to our portfolio of children’s games and puzzles with this internationally successful brand."

These puzzles follow the success of the Horrid Henry Nintendo video games and the release of the 'Horrid' iPhone app, which reached number two in the iPhone kids chart.

The third series of the TV show is currently airing on ITV1 and CITV.
