Orchard Toys has expanded its portfolio with a new learning game for children aged three and above.

Baa Baa is a colour matching game, where players try to be the first to colour match all of their sheep on their game card. It can be played by two to four players.

Like its other games, Orchard says this product also focuses on key educational values. It:

- Promotes colour recognition

- Encourages observational skills

- Teaches social interaction and turn taking

- Links with early learning goals

"When tested in nurseries, the team discovered a key learning area was with extended colours such as browns, greys and shades," read a statement. "This then inspired a broader range of colours to be introduced into this product."

Orchard Toys is a British manufacturer of educational jigsaws, games and activities for children aged between 18 months and 12 years. It has been in business since 1971.

Orchard recently told ToyNews about its record sales.
