The repertories of channels competing for children's viewing changed dramatically 15 years ago with the arrival of Turner and Viacom. Not only did Viacom bring Nickelodeon to the UK, but also MTV.

New look for Turner channels

ToyNews can reveal that Turner Broadcasting is due to unveil changes to its portfolio of kids’ channels, which currently consists of Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Toonami, Cartoon Network Too and Boomerang +1, with Cartoonito becoming a new dedicated pre-school channel.
