The Oobicoo dolls are set for pop chart success after the One Direction songwriters produced a song for the toys.

Emily Philips and Josh Wilkinson – who also write songs for Alexandra Burke – wrote the tune for the doll brand. You can listen to the Oobicoo song here.

The 60cm Oobicoo dolls retail for £34.90 and are available in girl and boy form. They are aimed at toddlers and have been manufactured from recycled and recyclable materials. They can even be dressed in real clothes.

Each sale of an Oobicoo raises money for the Children’s Immunology Fund.

The dolls are available at www.oobicoo.com.

Rachel Jones, creator of Oobicoo, said: “Oobicoo is a really unique and loveable doll which offers a personal touch that you can’t get from other dolls.

“Having already won five awards, I am excited about what’s next for Oobicoo. Not only does it help a child’s development, they are perfect for imaginative play, great for teaching dexterity in terms of dressing and undressing, and because of their realistic size, they give huge cuddles.”
