Zayn Malik is the second member of One Direction to be snapped on a Razor scooter this week.

Following Liam Payne’s Razor Facebook post, which has so far clocked up over 60,000 likes, Malik was pictrued on the E300 electric scooter with his new girlfriend Perrie Edwards from the X-Factor winning girl band Little Mix.

The photo was published in yesterday’s The Sun and the news, along with the picture, has trended on Twitter.

The exposure has secured the Razor brand an estimated AVE (advertising value equivalency) of £50,000.

Katy Fletcher, Re:creation's brand manager for Razor, said: “As scootering continues to take the UK by storm, it’s great to see young stars like Zayn and Perrie embracing the fun on their Razor E300.

“Our electric-powered scooters are guaranteed to put some zip in your ride and with an increasingly expanding range there is something for everyone, from eco-friendly scooters to juiced-up off road products. Razor remain dedicated to producing the coolest, most innovative products for all ages, and look forward to seeing more budding stars jumping on board.”

It?s fair to say that Re:creation has had to deal with its own set of unique challenges over the past couple of years. However, with a new-look portfolio, key new hires and a buoyant Razor business, the firm is back and ready to shout about its transformation.
