Mega Bloks has unveiled a new look and new products in its pre-school First Builders line as part of its New York Toy Fair showcase.

The firm is displaying new items across its pre-school, licensed, kids and collectors ranges at the Jacob Javits Center this week from its autumn/winter 2014 collection.

The First Builders pre-school construction line has been given a makeover. New products include First Builders Bobby Barn Musical Farm, which combines building and stacking play with cute characters and fun farmyard sounds for creative play, plus First Builders Fast Tracks Raceway and Rescue Team. The product allows children to build tracks and mix and match vehicles.

The Thomas & Friends range has been bolstered by Marion & Percy's Brave Quest, which has been inspired by the new Thomas tentpole theme, Tale of the Brave. It includes two buildable engines, track and special parts in a storage bucket with building base.

Also new is FurEver Families which allows children to build, craft and play to create sets such as Miss Mouse Schoolhouse, Bear's Fresh Market, Fox Family Treehouse and more.

Staying in licensed collections, and the Barbie and Hello Kitty lines grow, while Spongebob Squarepants is a new addition. Hot Wheels, Skylanders, Power Rangers, Halo and Call of Duty complete the licensed portfolio.

Mega Bloks Kapow is an elite range of futuristic Battling Blok Bots. Each Bot is over eight-inches tall and features kid-powered lightning fast punching action.

Finally, Mega Bloks World Builders is a construction toy line featuring four globally recognised brands: John Deere, Caterpillar, Jeep and NYPD.

Mega Bloks can be found at booth 751 at NY Toy Fair.
