With the popularity of Despicable Me and the Minions showing no signs of slowing, Thinkway Toys is showcasing a raft of new spring/summer lines at New York Toy Fair.

Despicable Me 2 has grossed more than $970 million at the global box office and was 2013's highest grossing animated film worldwide, plus the second highest grossing film of the year worldwide.

In addition to this, the film notched up $80 million and shifted 4.5 million units in the US in its first week on sale as a DVD, going on to become the number one DVD/Blu-Ray title of the year.

Thinkway is showing a number of new lines including Minion Jerry Bedtime Buddy (including more than 20 sayings in his original movie voice) and the Talking Action Figure series. Each Minion includes a special 'mode' including LOL Mode, Banana Mode and Singing Mode. Characters include Gru, plus Minions Stuart, Dave and Tim.

Moving on, and Bee-Do Fireman Minion is based on the fire emergency scene from the movie where Minion Stuart signals an emergency by repeating "Bee-do, Bee-do" into his megaphone.

There is also a Dancing Dave, Purple Minion with Multi-Colour Glowing Eye, Agne's Fluffy Unicorn, the Minion Mobile, Bedtime Agnes Plush, Undercover Minion Stuart Deluxe Action Figure and Build-A-Minion Fireman/Lucy among others.
