The Baby Products Association is supporting UK exhibitors who want to break into the European pre-school market at this year’s Kind und Jugend and is particularly interested in attracting toy companies.

It is the first time the BPA has hosted a UK Pavilion at the Cologne show in September as an additional service to members.

The Pavilion is designed as a platform that will achieve greater exposure for members, allowing them to demonstrate their products to a wider European market.

Peter White, Chief Executive of the BPA commented: "Increasingly we are finding our membership extends to the toy sector, especially as many have pre-school and toddler ranges that are better seen in nursery shops than some toy retailers. With this in mind we would very much like to see toy companies getting involved with the Cologne project and our own show in London."

"Exhibitors at this year’s UK Pavilion include Hippychick, Tippitotes, Cuddledry and Duskymoon, who will also be exhibiting at our London show. In an economy where expanding markets and opening new doors are key to future success we are delighted to be able to provide the ideal showcases both at home and away."
