Tomax, maker of the Turbospoke Bicycle Exhaust System, has revealed its latest European distribution appointment with Van Der Meulen distributors in the Netherlands.

The major European appointment also sees the launch of two brand new versions of Turbospoke.

The first is a fully re-branded and re-packaged version of the Turbospoke Exhaust System. Called Turbospoke Racing, this version uses a totally new packaging style and blends bright fresh colours with a distinctly racy feel.

The second new product is the Turbospoke Mini. While it doesn't use an exhaust pipe to amplify the card sound, the mini form-factor and totally universal fitment allow kids to fit more than one to their bike to make truly amazing sounds.? Both products can be fitted to the same bike at the same time, so the options for variable sound are almost limitless.

The exclusive appointment will see Turbospoke products brought to retail across the Netherlands and Belgium.

"This deal represents a major step forward for us, as Holland in particular is a market with enormous potential for a cool, fun bicycle accessory like Turbospoke," said Tom Maxwell of Turbospoke.

Turbospoke roared onto the outdoor toy and bicycle accessory scene four years ago with the Bicycle Exhaust System. Using durable plastic sound cards held in the path of the revolving bicycle spokes, Turbospoke generates wonderful realistic sounds. The sounds are then amplified through the life-like megaphone exhaust pipe so kids bikes look and sound like a motorbike.

The distribution of Turbospoke with Van Der Meulen across the Netherlands and Belgium will be supported by a extensive in-store promotional materials and video.

To see Turbospoke in action at Nuremburg visit Van Der Meulen in at stand C31 in Hall 8.
