The awards were judged by a jury of international toy experts, who chose the following products as winners:

Baby & Infant (birth to two years) - Mini Micro with Seat (Micro Mobility Systems)

Pre-school (three to five years) - Appmates (Spin Master)

School Kids (six to ten years): Lego Friends Dream House (Lego)

Teenager&Family (11 years or older) - Talat (Huch & Friends Hutter Trade)

Each year, the ToyAward is presented to new products at the International Toy Fair whose features stand out. They are distinguished by their play idea, outstanding concept and creative design.

Other judging criteria includes the material properties and safety aspects. The award provides guidance for consumers and the trade in view of the great variety of new products.

Until February 6th 2012, all visitors to the fair are being invited to choose their top toy as Traders’ Favourite from the winners of the ToyAward. This award will be announced at the closing press conference and the winner will receive prize money of 20,000 euros.
