Ravensburger will launch a giant floor puzzle and a set of three in a box puzzles in time for the autumn/winter season, with other new developments in the way for January 2012.

Managing director Tim Hall commented: “We are delighted to be working with Andrew Kerr at Aoh!k on this delightful pre-school property.

“We were particularly attracted to the programme because of the story-telling contained within each episode, and the fantastically colourful and detailed imagery, which is just made for puzzles and games.”

Driver Dan’s Story Train was launched on CBeebies in January 2010. In the programme’s key time slots (12.30-12.40pm and 6.00-6.10pm) it has recorded CBeebies highest share of children aged four to six and mums with children from birth to three.

As a result, 50 additional ten-minute episodes have been commissioned, together with a half-hour special.
