Notalie website launched

The knotted one meter tall doll looks to bring a new attitude to the girls market.
Publish date:

Standing at one meter tall, Notalie is a 'companion doll' aimed at girls aged between five and 11. The new website is home to a range of activities and musings from the character.

With her long, floppy knotted arms and legs, it's fair to say that Notalie is a bit different from other dolls.

Her creator Kym Yorke hopes that girls will see the doll as a big sister: "Notalie is a bit different and looks like a gangly bored ‘tween’, so girls can really identify with her and I am hoping that they will embrace her as they are growing up."

Yorke plans to expand the brand with story books, accessories, additional dolls of different ethnicities, craft activities and more.

She said: "I decided to launch Notalie after several years planning a companion doll which would encourage young girls to continue to engage in creative play."
