Norwich Evening News 24 reported that the anniversary party involved balloons, goodie bags and discounts on ranges.
Helen Hockey (pictured centre) runs the store with her brother Robert and sister Anne Martin (also pictured). She commented: "We’re really excited by it and there was a queue at the door when we opened.
"The atmosphere has been electric today and really busy, but it’s not all about spending money, it’s also a case of come in and celebrate with us, grab some tea and some cake and just enjoy the occasion."
The shop was launched as a hobby by the trio’s father Robert, a life-long model railway enthusiast. When Robert passed away in 2006, the siblings took over the running of the business.
The shop stocks a large range of lines from Lego Minifigures through to a £500 Hornby steam powered train set.
