New faces at Lego

Lego has further strengthened its UK marketing team with three new appointments.

Boasting a strong marketing background, Tara Tims (pictured) joins the team as brand manager following a career with names such as Danone and Johnson & Johnson. Her role will be to develop and implement brand and marketing strategies for some of the company’s best-selling ranges including Bionicle and Racers.

Tadek Antoniak has joined the company from Home Entertainment as assistant brand manager. He is responsible for the creation and execution of brand and marketing strategies for the company’s own IP, Exo-Force and assisting with the Creator, Technic and Duplo ranges. Lauren Ackerman has been appointed as sales and marketing executive to support the UK team.

"We’re delighted to have Tara, Tadek and Lauren as members of the marketing team’, said Fiona Wright, Lego marketing director. "All three will be fundamental in shaping our 2008 plans and contributing to Lego maintaining and growing its market position both nationally and globally."
