Sequin Art is preparing to introduce a host of new characters to its range of creative craft kits at 2014's London Toy Fair.

Heidi Hippo, Jack Dolphin, Sidney Snake, Dexter Dinosaur and Suzy Seal will be joining the Sequin Art Red range, developed to encourage younger audiences to create simplified pictures.

The names of the new additions have been chosen by the fans themselves through a recent social media campaign.

The introduction of the Sequin Art Red range will see the phasing out of the Junior Sequin Art name in a re-branding aimed at making the quality craft kits more accessible for younger audiences.

Furthermore, the Sequin art portfolio has recently welcomed a licensed Paddington Bear range in anticipation of the Paddington film next year.

There are also new additions to the 3D Sequin Art range, including ornamental mirror balls, hearts and cup cakes, as well as Laser Sequin Art with cats, parrots and rabbits.

In the lead up to the 2014 activity, a new TV advert is currently under construction along with a 'how to make' video to feature on the Sequin Art website.

Sequin Art head of marketing, Stephen Ducker, said: "We have a strong product range which ensures great loyalty and our TV and cinema advertising, bolstered by social media, has helped grow sales at a rapid rate."
