New awards scheme unveiled

First UK craft-specific awards programme opens for entries.

In a bid to identify and reward excellence in the Creative Play sector, Creative Steps magazine is calling for entries into its first Creative Play Awards.

Categories include Modelling Products; Girls Craft Kits; Boys Craft Kits; Science Craft Kits; Class Packs; Painting/Colouring Materials and Imaginative Role Play, with each category catering for three age ranges: 0-3 years; 4-7 years; and 8-11 years.

One winner together with two runners up will be awarded from each age group in each category, with Creative Steps magazine publishing the results in November.

Entries close on Thursday, July 31st and more information is available from PR firm, Evolution.
