Nelvana reshuffles

Nelvana is making a few changes to its European management.

Marie-Laure Marchand is now the head of Nelvana Enterprises' Paris office, continuing to report to Doug Murphy, President of Nelvana Enterprises.

She will retain her responsibilities in the European Marketing and Licensing areas and will be in charge of supervising and managing Nelvana's European consumer products' strategies, as well as the Paris office.

In addition, David Ledoux has been promoted to Licensing Coordinator and will now be in charge of licensing activities in Spain/Portugal, Italy, Eastern Europe, Greece, Israel and English-Speaking Africa. Sarah Sakr has now been appointed as Licensing and Marketing Assistant and is replacing Ledoux in his former position.

Nelvana?s UK office to close

Nelvana’s London office will close later this year as its parent company Corus Entertainment looks to restructure the firm to strengthen its position in the TV and content sectors.
