Morleys wins award for catalogue

The toy and furniture specialist wins ECMOD award.

Morleys has had a successful start to 2012 after being awarded the ECMOD award for ‘Best Catalogue Refresh – Business to Business” for its new early years publication.

Coming about after months of research, planning and design work, the catalogue capped off a period during which each of the firm’s three main catalogues were redesigned by the small in-house team of three design professionals.

The catalogues are to act as the central platform for a fully integrated campaign throughout 2012.

The ECMOD Direct Commerce Awards celebrate business excellence for organisations engaged in direct-to-customer retailing across traditional and emerging channels.

The awards attract hundreds of entries from active catalogue and retail business in all merchandise specialities and at all stages of development.

Clive Gilbert, managing director at Morleys of Bicester, commented: “I’m delighted that we won an ECMOD Award – it’s the direct marketing industry’s Oscars. Congratulations and well done to everybody who worked so hard on the catalogue – the award is a great recognition of the huge effort that went into producing it.”



Flair/Schleich win TRU awards

Toys R Us has awarded its annual Vendor of the Year Awards in the Toy, Babies, Consumer Electronics categories, plus two new categories - Supplier of the Year and Special Consistency Awards -  with Flair winning the Toy award and Schleich supplier of the year.
