Top UK toy maker Vivid will look to continue the collectable Moshi Monsters craze in 2013 with the introduction of Micro Moshlings, a new line featuring smaller-sized monsters.

The basic Micro Moshling item is Micro Mega Heads. Priced at £2.99 RRP, these open to reveal one exclusive Micro Moshling and there are five Mega Heads to collect.

For kids who want to build their collections faster, there’s the £4.99 RRP Micro Collectables pack, which contains seven Micro Moshlings (two of which are hidden) and a secret code for free in-game Rox at moshimonsters.com.

Micro Case Faces are oversized Moshling heads that provide a place for kids to store and play with their Micro collectables. Priced £9.99 RRP, Nipper has a flip out slide and Oddie has a spinning wheel. Both include one exclusive Micro Moshling.

Now in its fourth Series, Vivid’s original Moshling collectable line has been a constant fixture in NPD’s top ten best selling toys, both in terms of units sold and value.

Earlier this year Vivid told ToyNews that it expects sales of its Moshi Monsters toy lines to exceed £75 million.

Micro Moshlings and Series 5 Moshlings will be available at retail in early 2013.
