Dolls have always had a slight glimmer of creepiness about them, but Mezco Toyz’ new offering may have just stepped this up a notch.

The team is no stranger to the world of the bizarre and already boasts an arsenal of horrifying collectibles, including the infamous Freddy Krueger.

Now, the firm has revealed a new line of merchandise based on the popular horror film, The Conjuring and its spin-off Annabelle.

First introduced in The Conjuring, Annabelle is a doll whose evil nature may only be rivaled by Chucky. The hellish toy is now set to make its big screen return in the forthcoming Annabelle movie, a tale of the doll’s origin.

The first wave of Annabelle merchandise will arrive in stores in late 2014, coinciding with the film’s release on October 3rd.
