The fourth-generation family business has designed and created the teddy bear over many months.

The product is based on an original Merrythought pattern from 1948 – the year London last hosted the Olympic Games – and is made using the finest mohair (natural wool from the Angora goat), finished with a satin ribbon and bespoke presentation box.

This toy is offered in three London 2012 colour ways; Turquoise Blue, Pink and Aqua Green - each a limited edition of 2012 pieces.
