Mattel backs Matchbox line, Stinky the Garbage Truck

Marketing campaign includes TV, sponsorship and PR coverage.

Stinky the Garbage Truck is a rugged, large scale truck with interactive sensors that bring it to life by talking, telling jokes, singing and 'dancing'.

The truck has already featured in Christmas toy lists including Hamleys Top Ten toys for Christmas, which achieved coverage in The Times, The Guardian and on This Morning.

The marketing programme kicked off this week as sponsorship spots began on Channel Five’s Milkshake, including a series of five unique spots, highlighting the truck’s different functions.

A heavyweight boy-targeted TV campaign will run throughout the final quarter, complemented by an online partnership with AOL parenting as well as a PR programme aiming to secure Stinky’s spot on Christmas Gift Guides and gadget pages throughout the media.



Hasbro backs TP game

Hasbro is backing its Trivial Pursuit 90s game with a major marketing and PR campaign, including a TV blitz across satellite and terrestrial channels.


Mattel readies Lazy lines

Mattel has revealed more on its plans for big-name kids TV licence Lazy Town, with a range of products across a variety of sectors due for launch in the autumn.
