Marvin's wins Hamleys gong

Magic specialist wins inaugural supplier award from destination toy store.

Nick Mather CEO of Hamleys presented the award, which was introduced this year and recognises the store's special relationship with suppliers.

In speaking about Marvin's Magic he said: "In this particular case this company has: Worked with us consistently at a very high quality for many years. Is fundamental to what the Hamleys brand is about. Helps put the theatre and entertainment in Hamleys. Has some of the best demonstrators in the business. Helps us across the board in all our locations and with our overseas growth. Works with us to develop our own brand product. Is a pleasure to do business with and always goes the extra mile to make the relationship work."

Marvin Berglas said he was really honoured to collect the inaugural award on behalf of the Marvin's Magic team.

"Hamleys is very close to my heart and it is great to still have such a successful partnership after 28 years! It is encouraging that with our long association and heritage both our companies are always looking to drive the business forward. There are
still many opportunities to work together on.

"There are many people involved in the Hamleys account from in store demonstrators, team leaders, demonstration manager, training manager, sales director, warehouse and logistics team, plus our head office admin and analysis team.

Flair/Schleich win TRU awards

Toys R Us has awarded its annual Vendor of the Year Awards in the Toy, Babies, Consumer Electronics categories, plus two new categories - Supplier of the Year and Special Consistency Awards -  with Flair winning the Toy award and Schleich supplier of the year.
