Surrey-based distributor Maps Toys is hoping to emulate the success of its Cool Circuits line with its new Hover Shot game.

The game, designed to test shooting skills, includes a battery-operated base which features five stands on which users place balls.

Players then turn on the airflow and watch as they bob up and down in the air ready to be fired at. Users can control the airflow of the base to challenge themselves even further.

Consumers can also turn the lights out and turn the game on to night mode to see the balls glow stars in the air.

Each gun can hold three foam darts and to play, users just pullback, shoot and reload.

"We are constantly seeking brand new innovations to introduce to the UK market," said Dirk Kiefer, MD at Maps Toys.

"Since our inception we have managed to launch some amazing internationally acclaimed products and replicated their success here. We have stock available pre-Christmas and we are able to ensure product is available for retailers to capitalise on the busiest selling period of the year."
