MakieLab has announced the launch of its new app Makies Doll Factory.

This allows users to design and order customised 10-inch dolls from their iPad.

Customers can create their bespoke Makie, choosing from a range of hair, eye, clothing and colour options for male and female dolls.

They can also shape their facial features and name and create an unlimited number of digital dolls, all for free.

A digital Makie can then be transformed into a 3D printed plastic doll that, with credit card and parental authorisation, can be ordered straight from iPad.

The build-a-doll pricing starts at £59.99 and allows customers to add on hair, clothes and accessories at various price points, from basic to ultra premium. The new pricing is available via the app, and will be rolled out to the website later this week.

Makies Doll Factory is downloadable for free from the App Store.
