Lubliner joins LeapFrog

LeapFrog UK has boosted its marketing department with the appointment of one-time Hornby marketing manager David Lubliner.

Lubliner replaces Scott Axcell who remains within LeapFrog, moving to the US to work in the toy development side of the business. He takes on the role of marketing manager educational gaming.

Previously he worked for greetings card company, Medici Society as Licensing Manager where he was responsible for licensing imagery from the company’s large archive of original artwork. His position prior to this at Hornby saw him spend four years as Scalextric marketing manager where he was instrumental in the huge growth of the Scalextric brand.

Lubliner said: “In an industry where innovation is paramount, LeapFrog Toys truly is a market leader. My role within the company will offer the opportunity to really be part of the team that will continue to drive the brand forward. The big developments taking place with the electronic gaming category at LeapFrog makes it an exciting time and I hope to bring a fresh way of thinking to this dynamic company.”
