Lottie is celebrating the World Cup with the release of free printable football kits for its doll range.
Parents can download and print out a set of themed paper Lottie doll illustrations that let kids dress Lottie in football kits inspired by the 32 teams taking part in the World Cup.
The activity set also includes football coaching tips from USA soccer coach and author Andrea Montalbano.
"Getting girls into football is as easy as stepping outside with a ball," said Montalbano.
"It's a fantastic way to get little bodies moving, brilliant family time, and most of all a lot of fun. Football is for everyone."
Lucie Follett, creative director of Arklu, said: “Developing football skills is not only a great way to get fit and healthy, but it also helps girls build confidence to reach their potential.”
Polly Fildes, women's football national project officer at The Football Association, added: “It’s great to see that companies like Lottie are realising there is such a vast number of girls who love football.
"The women’s game is the third largest team sport in England only behind men’s football and men’s rugby. As football fever sweeps the nation, what better time to release these fun printables that let kids dress-up Lottie paper dolls in World Cup 2014 inspired football kits.
"I’m sure they’ll be really useful for parents, teachers and coaches alike. Let’s hope they encourage more girls to start playing the game.”
